Aim and Purpose of Lopesan Group Child Protection Protocol

  • To guarantee the protection of underage girls and boys at all Lopesan Group facilities through clear action procedures in order to prevent and detect child abuse as well as intervene immediately in case of signs of physical/ psychological/ sexual abuse, gender-based violence, prostitution, sexual exploitation, child trafficking/ pornography, etc.
  • To promote a culture of zero tolerance for the violation of children's rights and enact the adequate response to it (in accordance with the law) among Lopesan Group staff, internal and external clients.

Commitments and Information for our Clients

For the effective protection of children's rights and in the fight against any kind of child abuse, Lopesan Group:

  • Commits to prevent, suppress, condemn and report to the competent authorities any kind of criminal act against and abuse of children & adolescents, including gender- based violence, exploitative child labour, sexual exploitation or abuse and pornography.
  • Does not give any information to clients concerning the places where sexual services with children & adolescents are organised and offered.
  • Informs clients that any kind of abuse, including exploitation, pornography and sex tourism of
  • and with underage girls and boys has legal consequences in our country, and that our staff is under the obligation to report these types of situations in order to activate the mechanism of action established in the Protocol.
  • Implements surveillance mechanisms and preventive measures to avoid any type of child abuse, including sexual exploitation or abuse, pornography and sex tourism with children & adolescents.
  • Maintains a Child Protection Committee in order to oversee compliance with the Protocol.
  • Instructs its staff regarding the problem, legislation, risks and consequences, form of identification and action procedures.
  • In case of child abuse, you have at your disposal the helpline 116 1112.
  • It is prohibited to leave minors unaccompanied by an adult in the rooms.
